Gilson Wins the 2025 Digital Learning Award For Best "Innovation In Training"

Paris, March 20, 2025 – Gilson is proud to announce that its PipetteCoach™ solution has won the 2025 Digital Learning award for best "Innovation in Training".

PipetteCoach offers laboratory technicians, from students to professionals, the opportunity to assess and improve their pipetting technique. The solution features a customizable Android application paired with a standard mechanical pipette, allowing users to work in real-life laboratory conditions. The pipetting data is displayed in real-time through indicators that engage users and help them identify areas for improvement.

This 7th edition of the Digital Learning Trophies highlighted the growing importance of digital solutions in training, with more than 120 submissions this year, including those from leading organizations such as Allianz Trade, Geneva University Hospitals, Adecco Group, La Poste, and TotalEnergies.

The projects were evaluated by a panel of HR experts from various sectors: Ms. Alberto (Saint-Gobain), Ms. Baral (Monoprix), Mr. Benammar (Renault Group), Mr. Debois (L'Oréal), Ms. Delouis (Clarins), Mr. Grisaud-Verrier (MBDA), Ms. Guichon (Skema Business School), Mr. Houllier (Safran), and Ms. Vuaillat (Canal+).

The jury unanimously praised the pragmatism and creativity that characterized Gilson’s approach. Both project leaders, Tiphaine de Jouvencel, Software Category Manager at Gilson, and Mikaël Amsellem, Gilson Executive Director, shared their thoughts on the key factors behind this success:

"We are thrilled to receive this trophy, which confirms the enthusiasm of our first users. This achievement reminds us of the need for modernizing laboratory training methods," said Tiphaine de Jouvencel.

Mikaël Amsellem added: "Our pride in this project lies in having kept the user – whether teacher, trainer, or student – at the heart of our approach. We never gave in to the temptation to rush or overdo the technology. We offer a solution that is not only innovative but, being focused on user needs, very intuitive and accessible."
